DRESS CODE
Dance and Shoe Attire
ALL CLASSES:
NO DANGLING JEWELRY, NO JEANS, NO GUM, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Musical Theater
- standard dance wear such as leotards and tights, or
- any tight-fitting athletic wear such as leggings, dance shorts, sports bras, tight tank tops.
- NO JEANS, NO DRESSES, NO SKIRTS
- Jazz and Musical Theater: Caramel colored Capezio EJ2 slip-on jazz shoe
Hip Hop only:
- any athletic wear such as leggings, dance shorts, sports bras, tight tank tops.
- Sweatpants are acceptable
- NO JEANS, NO DRESSES, NO SKIRTS.
- Clean pair of street shoes ( Different from your everyday Shoe) Designate a pair just for dance class
- For recital – black canvas high-top sneaker (Converse-style)
Acro:
- TIGHT-fitting athletic wear.
- NO JEANS, NO DRESSES, NO SKIRTS.
- You will be upside down and need to make sure your shirt does not ride up or fall over your eyes.
- Hair MUST be pulled back in a ponytail or bun.
- Barefoot
Combo classes:
- Girls can wear:
- any colored leotard and tights.
- Pink ballet shoes. Black “Mary Jane” style tap shoe or Caramel Colored slip-on jazz shoe.
- Hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun.
- Boys can wear:
- any color shorts or leggings with a solid color top.
- Black ballet shoes.
- Black lace-up style tap shoe, black jazz shoe.
“Leveled” ballet classes:
- Girls MUST wear:
- black leotard, pink tights.
- Pink ballet shoes.
- Hair in a tight, neat bun.
- Boys MUST wear:
- black shorts and a white t-shirt.
